A 30A Weekend

Hi, my name is Caitlyn, and I recently moved to 30A, Florida! This past weekend, my parents came to visit, and here is everything we did. Consider these a template for your next long weekend in 30A!
My parents drove in from Birmingham, AL, on a Thursday. My job in 30A has me currently working from home, so once I got off work, I met them at their Airbnb in Seagrove, FL. It was called Beachwood Villas and was right across the street from the beach. We walked over to Goatfeathers Market and picked up Seafood for dinner. It was SO fresh & delicious and an effortless casual dinner to have. After dinner, we made our way to Grayton Beach, where we had some drinks at Chiringos with some friends. Such a fun beach bar vibe at night!
On Friday, while I had to work from home, my parents picked up donuts from The Donut Hole in Inlet Beach and took a drive down 30A. It can get pretty busy and have traffic during the summertime, but it's such a pretty and cool drive if you're not in a rush. Once I finished up with work for the day, we headed to the beach in the afternoon to soak up some sun and relax before getting ready for dinner. For dinner, we headed into Seaside, where I represent the social account for the restaurant "The 87 Central" through my job. 87 Central is starting to have "Front Porch Sessions" once a month in partnership with Bulleit Bourbon Whiskey. If you have an upcoming trip to 30A, I recommend checking out social accounts for different restaurants and bars in the area to try and catch fun events like this one! During the Bulleit event, we also got to feast on amazing shareable items and sip on good wine and mojitos. A few of my favorite dishes were the Caprese Salad and the Salmon- SO yummy! We then walked next door to B.F.F., which is a frozen alcoholic shake and slushy bar. The Bushwhacker and Espresso Martini are my two favorites there. Super refreshing in the summer heat and extremely tasty. We then capped the night by heading to ALYS Beach and walking off all our food and drinks. Then stopped by and sat down at NEAT Bottle Shop for our last few drinks and this incredibly delicious whipped feta plate.
Now onto Saturday, we got to have a full-on beach morning & afternoon. The water was gorgeous and so clear, it's still unreal to me how blue it can get. After a few sun-soaked hours, we went up to the condo to get ready to go to Seaside. We walked around, shopped around, and stopped by Pickles Sandbar for the most refreshing Watermelon-Rita! The perfect and sweetest way to cool off. We walked around a little bit more before heading up to Bud & Alley's to watch the sunset, sip on cocktails, and snack on some Pimento Cheese and Fried Shrimp. Once we finished dinner, we headed back to the condo to get some rest after our fun-filled day.
Once Sunday hit, my parents had to say goodbye and head back home. But before they left, we were able to sneak in a delicious brunch at Canopy Road Cafe in Inlet Beach. It was safe to say that we were stuffed and that we seriously did not eat one bad thing the entire weekend! It was so fun having them here for the weekend, & I cannot wait for their next trip and to see what all we do then.
